    Google Satellite Image

Does anyone know how old the google satellite Image of GS and LL area is? I see the LL bridge was under construction, just wondering how much the surf sands may have shifted since image was taken.

Depends on how close you zoom in, it changes to get the highest resolution as you zoom in.

But its no newer than summer 2015, so yes, the sand along the beach have shifted a lot. They shift daily & seasonally.
You can have a trough in a spot today, have a strong wind & surf tomorrow and it will be gone the day after.

Just checked my house off Canal Road and it says 3/16. House in Gardendale says 12/13. Image from pier shows 1/15.
