Good Trout rod for the pier?
Looking for a good trout rod for the pier. Will be putting a 2500 or 3000 Shimano Sahara with 6lb mono on it. Will be using live bait only. Thanks, Matt

If you don't want to spend too much, Walmart has the Berkley Lightning Rod. It's about $35 and is a great little rod. I have one paired with an Abu Garcia Cardinal 102i(or 101i, can't remember the numbers right offhand). Great set up. Have only caught one speck off the pier with it, but plenty of Spanish with it!
