    Gigging

Do they make a headlamp that would be bright enough to use to gig flounder ? I wanna try it in little lagoon and in the surf , if the water is calm enough. I’m sure LED would be the way to go , but will it cast a decent size beam?

Look for a good quality coon/hog hunting light. They will be plenty bright to gig by.

https://www.huntsmart.com/d/light-systems is one good option. there are many others.

Waterproof led with swivel attached to 1" pvc. Run your battery in old book bag

This is similar to the one that I have. I'm anticipating getting a lot of use from it in the fall.

I got mine off of ebay awhile back for $90. Yeah 12v. You could just also just get the led light maybe wallyworld or westmarine might have them and run it through the pvc and save some $

I've thought about wading the surf but I'll be honest, scary in the dark. I'm not tippy top dog out there
