Gigging
Do they make a headlamp that would be bright enough to use to gig flounder ? I wanna try it in little lagoon and in the surf , if the water is calm enough. I’m sure LED would be the way to go , but will it cast a decent size beam?

Look for a good quality coon/hog hunting light. They will be plenty bright to gig by.

Waterproof led with swivel attached to 1" pvc. Run your battery in old book bag

I got mine off of ebay awhile back for $90. Yeah 12v. You could just also just get the led light maybe wallyworld or westmarine might have them and run it through the pvc and save some $

I've thought about wading the surf but I'll be honest, scary in the dark. I'm not tippy top dog out there

My friend has that same set up He got several flatfish over 5 and one 7.5 # in late November at a secret spot that's right underneath everybody's noses!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
