ghost shrimp
Hey guys are ghost shrimp common in the gulfshores area? Can I use a pump and find them during early June?

They're year 'round (don't have anywhere to go or anyway to get there). Slurping them is a bit of a trick. When I do it I pull on the suction handle as I push the tube in, then pull it out quick and let the sand run into a little bait net and wash through (helps to have someone holding that). Look for the little blow holes in shallow water and go straight down. Easiest is at low tide.
I'm sure there are people here better at it than me.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
