Get Out of My Spot!
Some people in North Carolina get a little testy when ya take their spot at the rail!

Not even all that crowded -- that must be a really lucky spot.
I predict short and embarrassingly painful MMA careers for either of them.

Oh ! YES ! They are very protective of their preconceived spot especially if the are pinning ( GSP'S)trolley . Makes no difference if there are a hundred or one other fisherperson . Living 5 hours away from the east coast ,I rarely fish from the numerous piers ,but instead drive 15 hours to GS . Even though this can happen there when certain people are present .

I tried to type in a long story of a unpleasant experience about the "spot" thing when I fished on a pier at coocoa beach. But after I typed in like 200 words I realized what I need to do is delete the unpleasant memory instead of writing it down, and think more about the good people met on all the piers.

It's really puzzling that people would act this way, because they're not going to be fishing from "their spot" if they're in jail or the hospital! I'm a big believer in the legal process. But like Ironman said -- it's just fishing -- and it's a public use facility that everyone paid the same amount for equal participation.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
