    FYI: New Pier Entrance

Stopped by the pier this morning and nice to see some old friends.

Entered the lot through the normal entrance (@ the traffic light), but when I went to leave, that entrance was now barricaded off. The construction barrels have now been removed from the new ENTRANCE TO THE West! So, if you turn in at the traffic light, you'll need to turn around and use the new entrance. Dont know if this is temporary and will stay this way or not.

Sad to see we've been trying to get new decking on the pier and they say don't have the money and now we have a new paved driveway with a tollbooth.

No tollbooth yet Robert and Lamar told me the other day that they're looking at options to replace decking. I know it's not moving very fast, but that's government, just sayin'....

What I dont understand is how important their dune restoration seems to be yet, they're quick to destroy them for a new driveway!

Dune mitigation for all the impacts from ongoing construction was completed over 2 years ago.
