    Fresh cigar minnows

The guys that catch our ballyhoo came across a small pod of cm's(very rare for the Keys) and caught 1500lbs of them. They were brined and processed the same day,not sitting in some fish hold for a few days until the ice melted.Price is 16.99 a box or 144.50 a 50lb case. They are medium size,50 to 55 per box with a couple sardines mixed in.Once they are gone it could be a while before we have more.Just wanted to give Y'all a heads up.

Thanks for the heads up John!
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

If it is OK to ask, are they the same Captain Salty brand you had in the past or something even better?

How big is a case? Inches wise, that is. Thinking of freezer space
    Screw it. Let's ride.

If its the same brand they've had before, the boxes are 12" X 6" X 3" and ten boxes to the case. I have 8 boxes in my small freezer right now, and still had room for lots of ground deer meat.

sounds inviting........................... might have to drop by and pick up a box or two :yippee:
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.
