Free only means no fishing license required that day, you still have to pay $8 to fish the pier as far as I know.

That is correct. Same applies to public lakes which require a permit. But it's a great way to spend $8.00 and get a kid ADDICTED to something that won't get them sent to prison or rehab and maybe put a meal on the table occasionally.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
