Thread: Fort Morgan surf this afternoon

Tried to fish for pompano this afternoon but was severely hindered by some form of “green seaweed” no clue what this stuff is but it was very thick in some areas thinner in others builds up on line and well you get the idea- my son and I were at about 3 1/2 mile marker- only managed 1 pomp and 1 whiting on pink fish bites- several catfish- also had rod baited with live shrimp but no bites- talked with another fisherman late , he had been down to Dixie bar this afternoon and it was bad there as well
