Fort Morgan Pier
I went by yesterday and they were driving sheet piles (vibratory). I didn't get out of the car and look closely, but I would guess they had driven a half dozen to a dozen or so - just getting started, but at least they are starting.
From the looks of what was there, it appears that they are not demolishing the old pier until they need to do so to drive the new piles so that what breakwater exists is maintained.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
