Fort Morgan fishing pier/ boat launch
I was wondering if the old pier at Fort Morgan has been reopened. I remember hearing on here that some work was going to be done to it and it repaired. Thanks

The launch is open but no work has started on the pier as of a couple of weeks ago

For those of us who have never had the chance to fish this pier prior to it's closing. Would someone be kind enough to give a summary of what to expect? What are common catches? Best methods to fish the pier..etc.
Thank you! Tight lines!

There was very good fishing (bottom) for croaker, "white trout" and "ground mullet" mostly.
Some nice flounder (mostly in the fall), and sheepshead in the late winter/early spring...
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
