Fort Morgan charter
Always good to get back on the forum each spring and see the same folks giving good advice to less seasoned guys like me. Keep it up.
Headed down for our annual trip and this year I have succeeded in getting the group to agree to charter a boat for a morning. Looking for recommendations for inshore charters that are based at the marina near Fort Morgan. I did a search on the site but it looks like most recommendations are for boats closer to Orange Beach. Any personal recommendations for a boat out of Fort Morgan? The fishing group will consist of me, brother in law, his wife and their 11 year old son. Bathroom of some sort on the boat may not be a bad idea.
Thanks in advance.
Terry

Call Joe Garris, (251) 213-6680. He has been running charters for over thirty years and operates out of the marina at Ft. Morgan. If he doesn't have what you want, he will help you find it.

+1 on Joe. I remember when he was building the Dottie Joe II (a 50 something foot aluminum hull) at the base of the bridge where Lu Lu's marina is now. For a 12 year old boat fanatic, is was cool seeing the progression of the build every time you went off the island.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
