Thread: Fort Mogan

Has anyone have a report from Fort Morgan ?

I fished there yesterday. From 630 to 1130, at times, nonstop trash fish(hardtails?, catfish, ladyfish) and 1 huge sting ray. At approximately 11:00, the pompano came through and I caught 6, 2 of them together, unfortunately all were under size. The redfish followed them and I had a limit in 10 minutes and left. All caught on pieces of frozen shrimp and a piece of Fishbites. Nothing on cut bait except the big sting ray. Oh yeah, caught a few small Spanish on spoon while waiting on bites.

Fished there several times last week also, caught at least one redfish every trip and at least a couple of pompano, only 1 of which was a keeper, pompano that is, all were good redfish.
