Forecast for this week: West wind, wind out to the west and some more west wind....
Definitely not the forecast we need to push in some clear water, at least not in my experience.
Anyone else have any thoughts?Carl

I'm headed to central Illinois for the next week, maybe things will improve by the time I get back.

The water was looking fairly good today with several tidelines pusing in from the south.
Not great by any stretch, but definitely good enough for mackerel ;-)(RETIRED) mostly.

Hopefully it will get better for Thursday. Can't wait to see my pier family. Bringing my girl too, so hopefully the fishing will be better than it has been. If anything, gonna try to get her hooked up on a speck or two.

Looks like starting this weekend we may have SE winds for a few days. Once the wind shifts how long does it take to push the clearer water in? Heading down Friday for for the week and hope to get out to the pier a few days when I'm not paddling out in the gulf in my kayak. I'm thinking of fishing live bait deeper and farther offshore just to see if the kings are hiding there.
Better tighten that drag boy! He's gonna spool ya!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
