Fluorocarbon leader size
If fluorocarbon leader material is supposed to be invisible to fish then what would be the advantage of downsizing from say 20lb to 10lb? Does anyone use braided main line with a fluorocarbon leader for sheepshead and consistently catch fish?

Not invisible, just less visible. Think of those little mirages on the highway in the heat -- clear but not totally "invisible."

I'm not convinced that flourocarbon is all that much better than clear mono. I use flourocarbon for leader mostly because it is stiffer than mono and what I have found out about it, is that if it gets nicks and scrapes on it, it loses it invisibility on bright days. Those little nicks and scrapes reflect sunlight and look like little lights under clear shallow water. Pink YoZuri flourocarbon don't do that and I prefer it over clear. Back in the day before flourocarbon or mono we fished with black, tan and green line and caught fish. Therefore, I'm not convinced that line in general is a major factor to the fish and think that bait and presentation are what makes the difference in catching and not catching, IMHO.
Dance naked my friends, life is short.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
