how is the flounder fishing on the pier?

DISMAL!
For some reason this whole year (and last fall) flounder have been virtually AWOL at the pier.
A few will show from time to time, but I haven't heard of any sustained bite.
What's really odd is there have been good flounder bites periodically around the Little Lagoon and Perdido Bay just a few miles away. :-\(RETIRED) mostly.

flounder fished around that time and did well with the seafood salad every time my hook and bull minnow came up
