    Fishing Charter Recomendations

Heading down to the Gulf next week and was wondering if anyone has a recomendation for a charter trip. We plan on visiting the pier a time or two as well. Ive been looking at some of the walk on trips that are a little cheaper. Does anyone have any good / bad to say about them, or have a recomendation? Trying to give a couple of 12 year old boys a nice fishing experience without breaking the wallet. We were looking more at ofshore trips since we would like to catch some snapper and bigger fish.

Are the charter companies experiencing extremely slow fishing like all you guys at the pier?

    Thanks for suggesting me.

One fact I would like to mention again -- because of a fluke in the rules this year, I can catch and keep snapper in certain waters. Other boats will probably have to throw them back. However, they can fish in many places I cannot and will probably catch bigger snapper! Confusing, I know.

Troy Frady runs a great operation. I also recommend Captain Curtis max drag charters
