Thread: Fishing Atlantic coast

It has been many years since I fished the Atlantic. I will be in Jacksonville this weekend and hoping someone can direct me to the best pier of choice.

I brought all my gear. Thanks for the tips in advance.

I hit the Jax pier this past summer, nice pier with crappy looking fishing. The traffic and parking alone are enough to keep me from wanting to ever go back. I wish I would have tried Ft. Clinch just north of Fernadina Beach instead. Good luck.

When you go to The Jacksonville pier,you will see why trotlines are a problem,the farther south you go they are not so much ;except when the snow birds are in town.I fish from Port Canaveral south; and I target snook.

Some locals are recommending st augustine pier. Jax pier sounds both fishy and non fishy...
