Fish Weight calculator link
One of you fine gentlemen posted a link to a fish weight calculator in a thread a week or two ago. I cant find the thread. I had saved the link in my favorites but it is not working. Im not sure if the link is having problems or it timed out (?) or something or what. Are any of you guys that use that link having an issue with it?

That fine gentleman was the pier#'er. I also put it in my favorites, it but it wouldn't come up for me now.???? You might try to google lenth/weight conversion chart, and then include the name of the fish. It was designed for TX. Gulf water fish and it said that my 35" red snapper weighed 23# 12oz. That is the best I can do.

The link may have changed or been removed.
Try this one: Fish Length-to-Weight Conversion | Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission (GSMFC)
Simple Length to Weight tables are fairly crude as they do not take into account the 'fullness' of a fish.
For instance a prespawn fish like a sheepshead may carry more than 10% of it's body weight in eggs or sperm.
The more accurate tables involve the Girth measurement as well and plugging both numbers into a mathematical equation...

Hope this helps!

I can't get it to change species of fish ?
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
