First king???????
Well Damn, hunting season is over for me so it's time to get back to work and to start thinking about fishing season. It's been a cold wet winter,so that means we will have umteen trillion gallons of water flowing down the Mississippi River once the ice and snow up north melts and that could muddy up the eastern part of the GOM depending on what type of currents we have. With that being said,I'm going to guess the first legal king will hit the deck March 22nd,yea it's a little early but who knows. So whats y'alls guess? The person that gets it correct will receive one of our king rods we build at J&M Tackle. Only one little catch, you must have made at least 10 posts as of yesterday to enter and if something seems a little fishy, you will be DQ'd and talked about on this forum.

Legal king. A little fishy means: rumor fish,no witnesses, ect. A story I will never forget was posted on ECPFF several years ago by some dude that went by the name "sardine". He posted a novel about a cobia he almost caught on an ultralight one night at one of the Panhandle piers. The guy could have won first place at the Alabama Deep Sea Reodo liers contest with that story.

I'll take March 30th, a nice Sunday afternoon.

I'll have to got with March 29 and hope it is caught by me .
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
