First gulf fish and Pier#
Third time in Gulf Shores and first time fishing the pier. After getting everything and everybody together, including two 18 year old boys, got to the pier to hear bleak reports. Forged on with J&M, and forum knowledge to at least get some fresh air. Some time later I had a nice sheephead on and asked one of the boys to go borrow a net. The answer was "that guy is already bringing one". I asked "that guy" what he wanted me to do and he gave me play by play instructions right up until the hook pulled. I started to thank him and realized it was Pier#r. Had a nice talk with him and he later netted a double header sheep/flounder for the boys. He is an outstanding ambassador for the pier folks and a true southern gentleman. Thanks again Pier#r.

+1 on what Ironman said
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
