    Darn, no tarpon in February? LOL

    That graph is 'best case' scenario even for Jan-Feb.
    Keep in mind the climatic variation we have experienced over the past few winters (from mild to extremely harsh).

    Anyway WELCOME ggregw27!

    I suggest you learn to use the search feature to dredge up some February reports to give you an idea of what is caught, what methods and how often...

    Kinda sad reading February 2012. Sunshine, slim viking guy, springer, wilson.....everybody talking it up and having a good time. Wish there was more gab when the fishing is slow.

    Thanks guys for the info. Fished the pier a week ago for the first time now I got the fever. February is next chance I get to come back. Love that area, beautiful place

    Late February will likely be the 'flip side of the weather coin' you experienced in late September.
    Instead of there being an over abundance of life looking forward to the first refreshing cool respite of fall, it will likely look like a 'dead sea' locked in the grip of winter eagerly awaiting the first warmth of spring.

    It is still beautiful though. I love the winter serenity as well!
