    fairhope pier vs cedar point

    Ok guys just a quick question. I'm getting off work at 3 and plan on going fishing go tonight is it better to go to cedar point or fairhope pier . Fairhope is closer to me I just didn't know and how good are the lights there at night thanks

    Considering the forecast, the timing and the location I would think Fairhope would be a 'slam dunk' decision for you ;-)

    The lights are pretty good too!

    fairhope, been catching redfish alot there lately at night.

    Thanks I plan on getting there asap and what were they catching them on mullet and shrimp?

    hey 21, I went to FHope Monday night from 10:30-12:00. Had around 5-6 small Specks and these 2 Reds. One is 16.25", the other is 16.75".
    Water is not yet dirty, but I'm sure it's coming. Specks were caught on crappie jigs, Reds were caught on a re-sized (cut-down) DOA paddletail grub, silver sparkle. Everything came shallow near/in the lights. Not much, but just about what I was hoping for:

    Thanks for that report I'm gonna go Wednesday if the water isn't diluted from this rain what y'all think

    i catch reds on mullet heads or if the mullets small enough just use the whole thing.
