Fairhope Pier re-opened this morning:
Since the reopening- I was first on the pier... I caught the first fish (catfish)... I brought the first red to the pier... roughly 15-18lbs... and was also the first to not have a landing net handy. Tried to hand-line up and... first to snap a line.
o well, I know where he lives.

Thanks for the report, I miss fishing over there. Spent a lot of good nights on that pier netting drums and reds till your arms wanted to fall off lol. That pier is probably a 30 minute 40 minute drive from Foley on a good day.

Approx 23#, 35" . Lost a bigger one. Using cut mullet, so it didn't hurt when a big school swam by. (Roughly 2am. )

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
