Fairhope pier, now with even more updates:
Pier #'er called it in another thread. Fairhope pier 8-12/8-13 was a worthwhile night for wasting time and fishing. I'll forgive the one sudden pop-up deluge that lasted about 3 minutes. Started around midnight.
(1) 36" Red
(4) ~14.5"~ Specks
(12) small White Trout (kept one @ 10")
(1) 3ft Shark, cut it loose
(1) Big Sailcat (prob world record, but eh.)
(1) avg Stinga'ray
Recent water temps dropped ~4d btw. Red Cat Shark and Ray all on bottom, small white trout. Crappie jigs Speck rigs small Rat'l-trap and even a yellow/flash Lindy Darter (think that's right) all had a level of success.
*No shrimp, and reports of good Reds at Weeks Bay/Bigmouth.
*Pokemon players are apparently scared to get their phones wet. Sweet.
