Ever see a gaff like this?
For those of you that use a gaff, have you ever seen one like this? If the link doesn't work, just do a search for the fetch it slide gaff.

I would think that it would have the tendency to knock the fish off the hook, especially if you didn't hit it head on. I think it would be more worthless junk to carry, and I have too much of that already. (MHO)

I wouldn't want to say if it will work or not....I don't know. What I will say is I'm sure it works better when you're using a dead fish, they tend to cooperate better and not thrash around nearly as much

I like my small box gaff for using it by yourself......limited on size of fish.....Rich1 had a version that would attach to the line and slide down beside the fish, keeping them togetber for easier gaffing when alone,or no one wanting to help......no problem on Gulf Shores pier......but other piers sometime can be a problem if your not in the click

I love the way he walks away dragging his rod across the concrete!

Looks like a new variation of a "tuna missile". Thought of making something a lot like this gaff, but opted for a more common variety of gaff.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
