EARLY AUGUST FISHING
HAVE ENJOYED GOOD FISHING IN MAY AND IN OCTOBER. WILL BE BACK IN THE AREA IN EARLY AUGUST. COULD SOME OF YOU VETERAN FISHERMAN GIVE ME AN IDEA OF WHAT WILL BE CAUGHT DURING THAT TIME OF THE YEAR, BEST TIMES TO FISH, ETC.?

Last year it was all about fishing in the shallows. We didnt catch a single King the month of August last year. There were some good flounder and slot reds in the shallows, though. I caught them in the mornings and afternoons.
I did catch a good amount of keychain spanish every evening before the sun went down on Gotchas and a Clark Spoon under a bubble.

Thanks, Bubba. That's info I need to know, too. The dog days are hard enough to get through and I'd hate to not be able to catch anything at all.
