The Pier doesn't give anything away except that awful version of music that comes out of those horrible sounding speakers at the pier house. Can't hear the surf for the noise.

With all of the money the pier makes in people paying to fish and all of the looky looky tourists sightseers, I doubt they would have enough funds to actually give away anything, lol! It is a shame that they do not though, being that I believe it is the nicest pier on the Gulf Coast.

And with that said I don't mind paying to fish or paying to look. If that keeps this wonderful place going then I am all for it. IMHO.

I agree with chille. It's been two years on the lights and two months on the water for the cleaning at the octi! The turtle lights are bad enough trying to tie a line after dark. I'm all for ecology to protect the turtles, but at least fix the ones that are there!

Nothin' we can do about that---wish there was. Makes the good days better.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
