Dixey Bar is reds 24/7/365, but I've done best earlier or later in the year. That's when you get 5 or 6 trying to take the jig from the hooked one.

Will you be in a boat or surf fishing?
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.

If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Will we be forced to change the name of this location also? Give me a break.

I prefer the gulf side. This time of year daylight or dusk is the best bet. If you go late make sure your car is not inside the gate, otherwise it stays inside the gate til morning
