Thread: Difference Between Penn 720 and 722?

Wondering the difference between these two reels, cosmetically they look the same from pictures and i think they have the same capacity. Is it internals that are different?

720 200 yd 6 lb; 150 yd 8 lb
Budget blue color reel introduced in 1968 without ball bearings with
aluminum spool. First version used a brushed aluminum sideplate with
painted logo. Later version has bronze 720 medallion. No lefty version.

722 200 yd 6 lb; 150 yd 8 lb
Same size as the 720 but with a ball bearing with brushed aluminum
sideplate followed by painted sideplate with medallion. "Upgrade"
of the 720. No lefty version. Teal color like the 704.
