DI flounder gigging
Hi guys, I was out flounder gigging the other night at Dauphin Islands golf course and only gigged two legal flounder. I did however see a few shorts. Anyone have any tips on flounder gigging in this area? I fish for the with rod and reel under the DI bridge, but I don't gig much. Thanks, and any tips will help. Have a good day!!

The golf course gets hammered last time I went there was 20+ people there trying to stab fish best bet would be find a place that has less traffic. Little dauphin island may be a better spot since you have to access it by boat.

in the marsh around the airport when clear or sand island or as it is known now pelican island ,if gulf is rough no. side , further west you go the better , not on shoreline , back off till you find right depth !
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
