    decisions decisions

the part of the trip, I don't care for what equipment to bring....maybe time to thin the herd, while I am down there of reels I don't use
I do like a rod rigged for each species to target, already to go and extra's in case of malfunctions....and with a nephew coming down extra for him too....wish I could convince my Bride to fish also....need stuff for offshore in case I get offer's to share in expense's and get out there

amazing how it all fits in the rod tube, and almost a tall 7 gallon bucket for the trip....a couple reels are coming for a repair, and the manuals,302/306,706's I sure wish I knew how to use them proper....maybe with a month, they will become my favorite reels.... if I use them....well.... learn how

It didn't take long Bill. Only took me two or three days of fishing a manual to have it down. Wish all my reelscould be converted to manuals.

That's has been the problem, never wanted to give it time in the spring with the cobia fishing....I needed something I had confidence in if I had a shot ....and a manual getting it back on the roller just wasn't there for me....I could easily flip the bail over, just as easy ....I will play with it this trip....I always said I was going to mess with it here, but never did....I like trolling (lazy)
and I always used a cane pole growing up.... on our trips to Canada...actually they are still hanging in the garage....as long as the old station wagon tied to the car top carrier
