Decent Kayak?
Bought a kayak from a family member, more or less to help them out. Paid $200 for it, hardly ever used. Is this decent? Would there be anywhere to use it if I brought it down to the gulf in the spring?

It's a decent yak for a beginner. I wouldn't take it out into the gulf, but to fish in and around Little Lagoon, it would be fine.

I'd have bought that too, and fish out of it. I haven't always had a Hobie. I think about getting another paddle yak all the time for certain situations, but am limited on storage. Have fun.

I have one similar and it isn't one for the gulf but for the lagoon it would be fun.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
