I imagine that J&M has them, I bought mine there 30 years ago.
Might want to give them a call, buy it when you get here so you don't have to worry about shipping.
Also, some forum members make them. Could always buy one from them when you get here.Carl

There is absolutely nothing glamorous about them, but you just can't beat a Sea Striker pier/bridge gaff. I have one that just doesn't miss or let go, wouldn't trade it for any stainless custom made gaff I've seen.

Humphf, you've just never seen my Crimson Tide Gaff of Death. Made by Ironman and constantly in demand by expert fishermen all up and down the pier. Kings and cobia just roll over and give up when they see it coming.
Unfortunately, I don't thing Ironman is making any more right now, but I sure am proud of mine.

Lol Haywire, i have heard alot about Ironmans gaffs, i dont need anything fancy, just one that will stick good and hold all the way up, and DRH i'll take a look at the sea strikers, i know j&m and other shops down there have them, just wanted some member input and experiance, seen some good gaffs at work on the pier, and seen some where it seemed like forever before it got into the fish

I have to agree
,they are just a tool to get a fish from the water to the deck....I own a sea striker (I believe) my first store bought.....then made a few short gaff's till this design was requested by a few on the forum......and honestly I really like them ......it does keep your hand away from the business end of a king.....I do not get them close and sling a fish over the rail,I grab the long shank and slowly bring it over.....in total control
Thanks for some of the kind words,
I am glad you enjoy themBill..............
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
