Thread: cut mullet for Reds

About what size chunks of mullet should I use for Bull Reds at Fort Morgan in a couple of weeks? Thanks

Unless some move in...bait size may not be as key as the fish being there. Right now there is not much going there. I like to think of the point at the fort like a zoo. At daylihght on a good day there should be several kinds of bait active. Gull, terns, and pelicans...and the little brown birds that signal Spanish. Yesterday there was literally not a bird or bait to be seen at sunrise within seeing distance. Of course I well know that wind direction and temps can change all that pretty fast.
