Crabbing
Might be a bit off topic, but where are some good spots to go crabbing that has public access? We bought two cheap traps and want to give it a try.

Re: Crabbing
... plus this time of year catching (blue) crabs from shore is next to impossible.
You might get a few in crab trap (boxes) soaked overnite (or two or three),
but it's a far cry from the action that gets folkses from roun heuh breaking out the nets and chicken backs :P
:headbang:(RETIRED) mostly.

Re: Crabbing
No problem John. If I can't catch any with my traps, I'll use them up here in Wisconsin for crayfish.

Wisconsin's have crayfish, Alabama have crawfish. And Louisiana have mudbugs. Everyone of them are delicious.

And the great news is that it won't be long before they're affordable. Last time I ate em was last summer - had 7 lbs before I was done. urffScrew it. Let's ride.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
