cost of a license?
Can anyone tell me what a non res license costs for both pier and just regular saltwater. I have combed through the Al fish and game website and can't find a price tag anywhere. Thanks

Thank you pier#r!!! Being from MN. but NOT a Norsky, I was not aware of the pier licenses. I did not run into a pier licenses in TX. or FL. Evidently, it will cost my $47.95 for the saltwater licenses & $11.00 for pier licenses, is that correct?

Alabama is pretty cool in that they charge an out of state resident whatever their home state charges for an out of state license for Alabama residents. In your case it is $47.95 for an annual saltwater license that allows you to fish anywhere in saltwater, including the pier. However, if you plan on fishing the pier, an annual non resident license is only $11.00. Good fishing...

Thank you ^ ^ GK & fshntime
Also be aware that ALL annual recreational fishing licenses expire August 31st each year.
However the 2015 annual licenses are now available online at the link above.
Hope this helps!

To confuse the issue further: License fee (plus) $8 per day entrance fee to fish from the pier .
