Coming down next week, wanting to do some rec fishing!
Hey guys, first off I love this website. I think it is so cool how you all have created a place not just for residents but people like me, who are visiting and really don't have a lot of experience. At first I wasn't going to bring my pole down but after spending like 2 hours on this I have decided that I will give it a try. You all have convinced me, thank you!
Like I said, I am a newbie at fishing in general but have always enjoyed it when I had the chance. I've been deep-sea fishing twice but I know what I am wanting to do is probably completely different. We have a place that sits on the south-western part of little lagoon. I was wondering if you all could give me some advice (what to fish with, early morning or night time) about fishing in that area. I don't think I am going to do much on the gulf side.
After reading some of the other posts, I think I am seeing cigs and shrimp as a good option. Also some top-water lures? I appreciate any help. Again, thank you all who support and maintain this fourm. I wish I lived down there to be apart of this all year!

Educate me a little bit if you will. What are good turbidity numbers? If you can check those stats and determine what the water looks like before you go, that would be VERY helpful!
