Coming down the 18-22
The girlfriend and I will be headed down to Gulf Shores this weekend, fingers crossed it's not over run with spring breakers. We will most definitely be on the pier a couple of times, being out condo is less than a mile from the GSSP. Hopefully we will run into a couple of the experts on this forum! I was thinking about doing some beach fishing in the mornings before the sun bathers got out, try to throw some top waters? Or possibly some wade fishing (any suggestions?) I think someone on here mentioned there was a place to wade close to Ft. Morgan?
Per yalls suggestions I'll be stopping by J&M Saturday to let them spool a couple of my reels and hopefully steer us in the right direction so that we can catch a few fish. We would be happy catching some pompano, whiting or sheepies but would love to catch a few Spanish, though I'm thinking this cold front may have delayed the Spanish bite?
All in all we are just happy to be headed for warmer weather, it has been in the low 20s with highs in the low 40s here, even had a little snow last night and today.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
