The 7th Annual Christ the King Inshore Classic will be held from 2 pm-5 pm on Saturday May 16 on the grounds of Camp Cullen, located on the bay approximately 1 mile north of the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, AL. Categories are speckled trout, slot redfish, white trout, sheepshead, croaker and flounder. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes will be awarded in the adult division and 1st and 2nd place cash prizes will be awarded in the youth division(14 and under). This is a fun, family oriented tournament with a great atmosphere. We'll have live music, free food and drinks at the weigh in a raffle for a Cobalt cooler and some great door prizes including rod and reel combos, coolers, sunglasses and guided fishing trips with Cold Blooded Fishing, Ugly Fishing Charters and Krazy Kjun Charters. Tickets are $20 until May 8th.

The only bummer for this year's tournament is there will be no weigh-in by boat. The seawall area near the pier is undergoing construction and this area will be not be accessible. Call Terry at 3773801 if you have any questions.

I realize this is 30 miles from the pier but maybe it make sense for some of you to make the trip to the weigh in. Over the years there has been plenty of money won in each category by folks that didn't fish on a boat.......
