Castable Setup For Sharks
I've been thinking about getting a Fin-Nor Lethal 100 and spooling it with 50lb braid for surf sharking. I've heard great things about the Lethals, but I wanted everyone's opinions before I go through with the purchase. This will be my first shark fishing setup.

Never heard of a lethal. I like the off shore version fin-nor has. I know a guy who uses either an 8000 or 10000 series spinfisher v w/ 100lb braid and it's a beast. You could try that?

Fin nor lethal so are great reels. Alan hawk wrote a review about it and he didn't have any compliants, and he puts his reels he reviews to the test. Here is the link Fin Nor Lethal 100 - AlanHawk.com . Although, I have a 4500 spinfisher v for kings and other fish and I LOVE it.

Go Vols, I don't mind Nick Saban, but Lane Kiffin just bends the rod too much.

Thanks for the feedback. $110 for a reel that can handle that much drag seems like a steal, so I'll buy one and hope I get to use it this year.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
