cast net question
this maybe a stupid thing to ask but here goes.I just bought a new castnet.and was thinking about hitting the north side of bama point bridge(the small part that is still fishable)and got to thinking.I have never seen anyone throwin a net there, any reason why sure would hate to lose or destroy a net if the layout of the bottom isnt so great.

I have seen many mullet fisherman throwing there. I think there might be a rock or two right beside the wall but they throw past them and I have not seen them have a problem.

I've used my net there before and loaded up with mullet to the point I needed help to lift it over the rail. Never ran into trouble unless you headed south to the pilings or beyond were you'll run into rocks. If it's bait your after, they hang nearer to the wall but you you need to be careful you don't hang up on the barnicales on the wall.
good luck!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
