Thread: Can spring get here soon enough....

Just set up vacations for May and September.

I am ready for turkeys to go to gobbling....we will be down in March for some fishing...my son called from school today and said "another day closer to fishing"

Was out walking a hardwood ridge yesterday. Found scratchings by the dozens (and several fresh scrapes). Ready for some Thunder Chicken action!!

I can wait...
Over the years I have grown to enjoy the cool and serenity and unique opportunities that wintertime fishing often brings.
It doesn't have the variety of warmer times, but still PLENTY to offer IMHO.

Just make sure you filet your fish at the cleaning tables and not the shorter rail build for those who need it.

I don't disagree with that. I treasure the disagreeable weather days when I have the pier essentially to myself and don't catch anything but gaffers and white trout. The catch is no longer the thing. It's the commune.

Agree on the commune. Video'd wayyyyyy more dear than I shot this year.
Would fish wirh no bait with you guys rather than sit in a pool of my own sweat
beside some pool!!!!

Fin....Thank you for the time, effort and I am sure money that that you put into this forum.
This has been the most informative place that I have ever found with honest (well maybe
streched a litte...we are fishermen) info on fishing the Gulf. Your pictures are so well done.
I seem to forget to put a person in the photos I take of fish, deer, turkeys and stuff.
Like to think of myself not as a "coogan" but more of a Blind Squirrel"....Even a blind squirrel
finds a nut every once in a while!!!!
