Bull Minnows
Hey, does anybody know some good places to catch bull(mud)minnows? Got some minnow traps. What about bait? Heard a busted up crab was good. Don't know. Seems like every month when I come down all the bait shops are sold out of bull minnows most of the time. Also, a good place to cast net finger mullet?

I haven't ever found a permanent or really good spot for either of those, but i usually throw around smaller piers or boat launches to catch finger mullet and it seems to be random if they are there or not. Shrimp is good if you cant find either of those. Welcome to the forum too everyone on here is nice and happy to help

Thanks fishchaser. For finger mullet, I can sometimes get them at night around my pier off canal rd. but its sketchy. West end of Little Lagoon has them when tide is coming out of Gator lake but it is a long run down there. I've heard boat ramps were good places to throw for them also. Will have to give it a try.

Try cast netting docks and boat ramps, they seem to hold there. I always crumble up a peice of bread and sprinkle the water, gets them really attracted to a small area
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
