    bubble rigs rock

Spent last week on Dauphin Island. I rigged up a bubble rig according to the DIY forum. Spent a couple of hours in the surf flat wearing out the hardtails. Caught a few Spanish macks also. Still can't believe something so cheap works so well.

McDOnalds straw is the old standby, about a 2" section. But Clark spoons, spec jigs, small loonie jigs, tubes, etc..., all work.

Life is too short to drink bad beer.

I had a 1 1/2" section of soda straw. Blue, of all colors. Fill bubble half full. Cast past second sandbar and give a few aggressive pops on it. It won't take long for them to find it.
