Braided line and wind knots
I was reading a earlier thread about hooks and braided line.Where wind knots came up a number of times.
I was shown this trick on one of the NC.piers , Take Chap Stick (flavor not important) rub it liberally on the knot and rub it in with your thumb and forefinger to work in to the knot. Then start to pull it apart at the loops, Most of the time it works.
If that fails, cut it off and start over,But has worked more then not for me.

Yep, Rick showed me that trick and it works except when I make a really outstanding knot that draws down tight. Thanks for the reminder.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
