best time to come
do you guys think that fishing will be any good in late febuary this month? I want to come down around the end of this month, and i was wondering what yall think you might be catching at that time? Also when do the spanish usually start turning up, because I love catching them.

Spanish USUALLY start from the middle to the end of March, it seems to depend on the rise in water temp (above 66 or so).
February (even late in the month) can be 'tricky' because we are either caught in the midst of the winter
or on the verge of spring "bustin' loose" :yippee:
These periodic warm spells we have experience sofar this winter have the flowers ready to bloom already.
The Japanese Magnolias and pink bud are currently blooming and I have even seen some azaleas
For from spring is 'springing', but an indication this may be an 'early year' :-\
Either way sheepshead and whiting should be available with a scattering of pompano, drum and other species...(RETIRED) mostly.

Ok I will probably just skip going this month but I definitely hope to come in march. I hope the Spanish will be biting!
