Best overall bait
Going fishing tomorrow at Gulf State Pier. What would be the best overall bait to use for the Big Reds if they show up? Also just bait in general, would appreciate your input? :-*

Bulls will eat about anything, live bait, jigs, plugs, cut bait.
As far as the anything else bait, this time of year I'd say go with some live or fresh dead shrimp.

A live pigfish, croaker or pinfish is sure to get eaten by any redfish.
+1 on the FRESH dead shrimp for everything else(RETIRED) mostly.
