Best King Rod?
What is your opinion on the best affordable king rod? Nothing that would be too expensive, looking at under $200. Thanks.

The one with a king on it. Look at the J&M rack rods.

Batson swb80ml and gator 596. I had a 1027 and it was nice. Sold it though. Still have my trusty 80ml
those two fish to the left had the smack down laid on em with the 80ml. Nice, affordable rod.

And maybe best for one might not be for others. My personal king Rod is much heavier and stiffer than most king rods that others fish with. I recommend going and playing with a few at j and m, or see if others on the pier will let you throw theirs.

I keep a 1027 on my cart that you can try out next time your out. And I still have the rod you gave me to repair last summer your mom never came and picked it up.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
