Thanks Fin, good comparison.
IMHO that was a LOT of trouble and expen$e for 40-50 feet of beach that will be gone after the first major storm we experience.
I'm just relieved they dredging was completed before the late winter/ early spring fishing kicked off and the effects didn't seem to hurt the shore fishing this season.
Specks have been 'off' from years past, but it seems everything else has been about 'average' and pompano had been good until the net boat started pounding them down on the point east of the pier :-(
